Welcome to the Tennessee State Society website!

Virtually every state has a state society in Washington, DC. In general, state societies serve as nonpartisan, social and civic organizations that celebrate the culture, history, traditions and people of each respective state.

The state of Tennessee has a strong and diverse presence in the nation’s capitol.

Although TSS has close ties with the Congressional delegation, the main purpose of the organization is to connect individuals in the D.C. area who either hail from, or have a deep love for the Volunteer State.

The TSS is a non-partisan, non-profit organization governed by Bylaws that are implemented by an elected Executive Council composed of Officers and Members at Large.

Want to be a member or renew your membership? Go to http://www.tnstatesociety.org/member.cfm to sign up!

If anyone has ideas for the society and/or would like to get more involved, don't hesitate to contact me at (tsspresident@hotmail.com) . There are no time requirements to get involved and we always appreciate new ideas and feedback.

Thanks for visiting, and we look forward to hearing from you.
